What an exciting time Hallman students had bowling at Northgate Bowling Center! The entire Hallman school, (except for a few that went to the zoo) got a chance to practice their bowling skills and celebrate the fantastic year with their friends and teachers! Hallman students went on a short 15 minute walk over to the local bowling center to bowl 2 games on May 30, 2013! Carol Lindquist, our PE teacher taught the students the basics of bowling in their PE classes two weeks before the field trip. She pre- arranged the trip to the center along with the folks over at Northgate Bowl to celebrate the progress in learning they made this year and to learn to bowl! Students thrilled in the excitement of rolling a strike as their teammates cheered on. They learned how to hold the ball, different techniques to hit more pins and to simply have a good time! They watched the screen intently to see how many points they got from each roll, many of them commenting how much fun they were having and they want to bowl again!

It was reported by the staff at Northgate Bowl that our Hallman students were awesome and their behavior was something to be proud of!  We want to let students and families know that Northgate Bowl has a special for kids this summer! If you register your child for a summer fun bowling pass, your child can bowl 2 free games each day all summer long! This would be a great opportunity for your child to get out to the Northgate Bowling Center, practice some of their new-found skills and enjoy bowling!

Have a great summer everyone! Be safe and enjoy bowling!
